INDUCTION FOR RESEARCH LABORATORIES

We are proud to collaborate with research laboratories. In this context, the ESRF “Sample Environment Service” team has done some very nice work with high temperature refractories. Induction associated with ESRF means makes it possible to study the characteristics of matter up to 2000°C.

For this operation, our IX7200 generator was chosen for its compactness and ease of use and installation on ephemeral experiments.

AN INDUCTION SYSTEM TO BE INTEGRATED FOR SPECIAL MACHINERY IN LUXURY WATCHMAKING

📍 Need: Our Swiss client, a leader in the design of automated machines for the watchmaking industry, was facing challenges with the electrothermal aspect of their application. They needed to heat small mobile molds for hot bonding of components. The constraints were numerous: limited space, contactless heating, quick cycles of a few dozen seconds, and no direct contact possible with the mold.

✔ Solution: ID Partner implemented an induction system combining two heating technologies. Induction for quick and precise heating, and a fine heating element for maintaining heat. We used our IX3600 induction generator with a heating head made of Litz wire that is not water-cooled. This compact and efficient solution was integrated with embedded RTD and infrared temperature sensors, providing two measurement technologies for optimal management.

🎯 Result: A temperature uniformity of 2°C and cycles of 2 minutes, including the heating up and maintaining at 70-90°C during the working phase. The planned throughput is 50,000 heating cycles per year, with no maintenance needed for the induction system.

ID PARTNER INVESTS IN YOUNG TALENTS

ID Partner appreciates the opportunities to meet young people to help them integrate into professional life.

We believe that cooperation between educational institutions and manufacturers is essential to prepare young professionals and make the industry prosper.

ID Partner was invited to participate in the “Grenoble INP – UGA VSE, SME, PMI Forum, 4th edition” on February 15, allowing the opportunity to meet students from the flagship university of Grenoble, which trains in engineering and management.

We were proud to present our activity, pitch to the students and interact with students from various backgrounds.

We recruit several interns per year with the possibility of employment afterwards.

We offer versatile internships for different levels of study and specializations: worker internships, PFE internships, in electrical, electronic, mechanical engineering and thermal processes.

For several members of our team, ID Partner was their first place of employment.

We are always open to new opportunities for collaboration with students who seek to work in a caring atmosphere with strong societal and environmental values, as well as to learn how to respond to the real challenges of industrial projects.
